Alakh completed his schooling from Prayag raj. later he took admission in Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, INDIA for his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. But he was not completed his degree due to teaching style of faculty he is not satisfied and left college in 3rd year. He realized engineering is not his passion . Start to teach in coaching he earned 5000rs monthly .Students like his way of teaching. Later he feel that reach of offline coaching is very less. He started to make video in 2014 for his online channel physics wallah and rest is history.
18 may 2020 he is launched Physics Wallah APP .
He became very popular on line educator, CEO and founder of PHYSICS WALLAH. His preference is education, not focused to earn money from students.
Alakh sir inspired by his parents. He learned take risk with his father and consistency from his mother. Sister taught him to study well and unconditional support.

Alakh sir demand to his father for a cycle in childhood then his father replied him when our house sold then we took. Then he started to think daily our house should sell and finally it happened and he feel happy. Later he realized it's very bad to us when he shifted to rented house in slum area.
When he told to his sister that he will not complete his Mechanical Engineering degree then his sister said" Toh kya chai wala banoge" .He replied "Physics Wallah "banuga.
He started to make video2014 and he didn't know about monetization later his friend suggested him and he got first payments of 8000 Rs.
He loved physics so much, he has tattoos on his hand pie and m=E/c2.
Alakh Sir became so popular than some big coaching institute offered him large amount of money first time 40 crores and 2nd time 74 crores but he rejected the offer than they started to offer his teammates. Then he replied that "Tum ek Alakh Pandey leke jaoge main Hazaar khade kar dunga".Again he established whole team. He has staff of 1900 members.
Physics Wallah 28 lakh active user and a student consumes content of 90minutes.
Controversy with Aman Dhattarwal
Aman accused on Alakh that he poaching his brand "Apna College" teachers, video editors and employees. Alakh acquired staff's of Apna College with proper resignation and follow all rules and regulation he replied to Aman.
